Feb. 27, 2024, 9:04 p.m. - Just finished eating some dinner at the service station. We met a very nice German lady who worked their and spoke basically no English but was very interested in Race2. She very kindly opened the shower back up in the service station so we could get a shower. We've now moved to the petrol station hoping to try and hitch a ride. Currently there has been very activity so we may be in for a long night.
Feb. 27, 2024, 7:22 p.m. - After travelling fast along the Autobahn towards Bremen, we have now been dropped at some services which according to hitchwiki are great for getting lifts towards Hamburg and Scandinavia. 🤞🤞

Feb. 27, 2024, 10:13 a.m. - We sat in that petrol station for over three hours and we asked everyone if they could give us a lift but we had no luck. The petrol station was on the side of the motorway so we thought we couldn't escape however we found a gap in a fence that led to a field. We walked through that field and into the town of Venlo. We are now waiting to board a bus to Dortmund which luckily isn't coasting us anything thanks to the donations we have received along the way!

Feb. 26, 2024, 3:41 a.m. - Having done some midnight sightseeing in London, we are now waiting for our free bus ride to Lille at 8. Only 4 and a bit hours left to wait. It's fair to say that London Victoria Coach Station at 4 in the morning is a strange place! We are both very tired but also very excited to arrive in France later this morning!
