The people we tried to convince to let us on for free said do not hitchhike very unsafe (it felt unsafe too) and you are not getting on for free. Total bummer. But! A family friend (we did not ask) has donated to me and it covers an overnight bus. That's our new plan! We miss getting cars but not that much. Copenhagen we are almost there 🐞

Feb. 25, 2024, 8:31 p.m. - We are in Durham thanks to our savior Jack. The McDonald's in Berwick is not recommended!! Or any of the nearby petrol stations!! But Jack and his friend saved us. We are at his flat in Durham now and are planning on staying the night. The Bugz are so so tired. We will be out bright and early tomorrow though!! However the loveliest former st Andrews student picked us up! We added each other on linked in and had a great time! She gave us 10 pounds for the bus if needed! We are in McDonald's and saw another team. Life is a little better now
